FROM THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO’S CATALOG

The front of this coin portrays the Emperor Tiberius facing right and wearing a crown of laurels. He is encircled by the inscription TICAESARDIVI AUGFAUGUSTUS and a partial border of dots. On the back a seated figure of Tiberius holds a staff in one hand and an olive branch in the other. He is encircled by the inscription PONTIF MAXIM and a partial border of dots.
