Silk, predominant-warp, weft-ribbed plain weave, resist dyed and painted with dye and India ink; embroidered with silk, gold-leaf-over-lacquered-paper strips and gold-leaf-over-lacquered-paper-strip-wrapped silk in satin, silk-padded satin and straight stitches; laidwork, couching and Chinese knots; lining: 5:1 twill damask weave
