The Dutch draftsman, painter, printmaker, and carpet dealer Herman Naiwincx gained success by depicting rural landscapes, a common theme among 17th-century Dutch artists. These prints by Naiwincx from the series Set of Landscapes are pure landscapes, completely without human figures.
