FROM THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO’S CATALOG

Cantarini was influenced by the works of Federico Barocci and the Carracci, and he worked for a short period with Guido Reni in Bologna. He traveled extensively and etched about thirty-five prints during his short lifetime.
