FROM THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO’S CATALOG

The front (obverse) of this coin portrays the emperor Constantius II, facing right and wearing a diadem and a paludamentum. On the back (reverse), a soldier is shown piercing a fallen enemy with a spear. A shield is shown lying on the ground near a horse.
