FROM THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO’S CATALOG

The front (obverse) of this coin portrays the emperor Tiberius, facing right and wearing a crown of laurels. The back (reverse) depicts the altar of Lyons, flanked by two figures. Atop the altar a victory column and a type of wreath called a 'corona civica' are shown.
