FROM THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO’S CATALOG

The front (obverse) of this coin depicts the goddess Diana as a huntress, facing right with a bow and quiver on her shoulders. On the back (reverse), the mythical Caledonian boar is shown being pierced by an arrow and attacked by a dog.
