FROM THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO’S CATALOG

Text printed on reverse of stereocard: This Grand Scenery and delightful Resort is healthfully located, being eleven hundred and seventy-five feet above tide water, and in close proximity to the beautiful Cayuga, where four steamers daily make a landing, giving a choice of rail or steamer from any direction. Rev. Dr. Cheever pronounces the view of the Gorge and Falls the grandest and most picturesque in the world out of Switzerland; reminding the traveler much of the pass above Chiavenna in the Italian Alps.
