FROM THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO’S CATALOG

Collignon studied for a period of time in the work­shop of Jacques Callot, and imitated the works of his master as well as those of Israel Silvestre and Stefano della Bella. He worked in Rome for a period and was also involved in the print market.
