FROM THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO’S CATALOG

Over 100 etchings and several mezzotints, as well as 157 illustrations, are known by this artist. Many of these reflect his visit to Norway and Sweden about 1644 and were tremendously popular in his own day.
